THANKFUL: thankful was an interesting poem. the author talks about new oreleans in very unique way. she describes the women and the men. she also describes what happen when hurrican katrina hit. she mentions that 34 people died in a nursing home because they weren't evcauated. she talks about what she see's that has been distoryed. she talks from a women point of view in this poem she descibed things by using her body parts as an example.
