Lai Ki Tung - READ 0910 Section 1 This poem is about how the hurricane is happening. The poem is telling people how to to be safe, just hold on to one thing tightly and not let go. When I was listening to the poem, I feel somewhat scared because of the words that the author used and it sounds threatening.
Angela Griffin 0910 Section 1 That in this poem the author is talking about riding the storm and how the watter comes. It also starts to talk about the finel building coming down. It make me feel like how much pain and deathreally happend from this storm.
Adam Patterson 910-01 This poem is describing what people are going through during the hurricane. It is telling people how to be safe, and to hold on tightly to their loved ones. I felt scared as I read this, because it sounds threatening with the words the author used.

During this poem I felt the fear and anger that everyone was facing during the strom ,and how they did their best to stay alive.

Shaun Kelly 0910-02 Its talking about how they rode the last hurricane that came through and they are going to do it again. theres no better feeling than surviving because it seems like you have gone to hell and back. they are going to stand up and not move away but stay there and give it all you got.

This poem is talking about people should give up on what they have already started.. not having money and jobs and etc since the storm took that away. even though its hard to get by with nothing still work as if things were still there. make use out of life.

This poem speaks to us about having a word of prayer whenever we are face with difficulties in life.whatever hell we may be face with be it storm.always say a word of prayer to overcome the situation.
