I think that this poem is about all the different people that had things to do and didn't expect the hurricane at all, like it was a total surprise. Or they just maybe didn't want to talk about it cause they were afraid. It had a sad, lonely tone. -Sarah Lindwall

- this poem talks about how others don't want to bring up the brutalness of what happened to places and people during the hurricane and so they always said about katrina as " the odd sister."
