Listening and reading this poem i start to imagine and remember when the news showed us the people in New Orleans up on their house roof just to get away form high water and to be rescued. It give me a sad feeling knowing that people had to wait to be rescused while the had babies.
Alexandra Rothstein 0910-02 TO me this poem seemed like it was about people waiting for help, maybe on the roof and hoping someone was going to come help them.
mitchell schmid read 910-02 This poem was about how after the storm they were all waiting on there roof tops thinking no one was going to come save them. all they could think about was sinking cause everything just kept getting worse.
Leah Rose M. Sulla 0910-02 It talks about how people try to dry out their clothes and waiting for people to save them and get them out of their sinking ship. It is really depressing how people try to survive and hope they will survive this calamity.
Harrirthur Kimber 0910 Its about how people need help and they was waiting other states to come. they was wonder about the time and the day the hurrican will be over, for them to move on with their life.
Leah Ringdal READ 0910 01 This poem it is talking about how the people wait for help to come on the way. They are feeling lost and broken. This does make me feel sorry for the people but why didn't they get out of there when other people told them to. I Know it's harder said then done but it was for the best to leave and go to a safe area.
This poem is about after the storm. The water was flooded all the way to the top of the roof, and this is the only place that the people there can stand on. This people were rescues by carry in a basket. If the rescues didn't save they on time, they are going to died because the water was kept rising up. I feel sorry for them that they have to be in this place and time.
whaghting on a roof for someone to come save them.
